Everything you need to know about ordering our premium grass-fed beef

How does the ordering system work? |
| We take orders throughout the year and process cattle when they're ready. This allows us to maintain our high standards while providing you with premium beef. About 2-4 weeks before your order is ready, we will contact you with the details. You can also sign up to our email list to hear about upcoming beef pack release dates and get the latest news! |

What's the difference between grass-fed and grain-fed beef? |
| Our 100% grass-fed beef is never finished on grain. This results in leaner meat with higher omeg-3 fatty acids, CLA, and vitamins A and E. The flavour is more complex and the meat has a firmer texture. Grass-fed beef is also more environmentally sustainable. |

How much freezer space do I need? |
| Quarter steer: 60-80kg requires about 140L of freezer space. Half steer: 120-160kg needs 280L. Whole steer: 240-320kg requires 560L. Plan for adequate freezer capacity before pickup. |

What cuts do I get with my order? |
| You'll receive a variety of steaks (rib-eye, T-bone, rump), roasts (topside, silverside, blade), mince meat, and other cuts depending on your selection. Simply fill in the cut sheet so you can customise your preferences. |

What packaging do you use? |
|
Our beef is packaged in Cryovac bags - sealed for freshness, and neatly packed in a sturdy cardboard box for easy handling. |

Can I customise my cuts? |
| Absolutely! You can specify steak thickness, roast sizes, and whether you want mince meat or sausages made. We work with you to ensure you get the cuts that suit your cooking style. |

Where can I pick up my order? |
| We offer pickup at two convenient locations: Cottles Bridge and Warragul. Restaurant delivery is also available - contact us to discuss your needs. |

How long will the meat last in my freezer? |
| Properly wrapped and stored at -18°C, grass-fed beef maintains quality for 6-12 months. We recommend using within 6-8 months for optional flavour and texture. |

Why do you only process 15-20 cattle annually? |
|
Our small-scale approach ensures each animal receives individual attention, maintains our regenerative farming practices, and allows us to deliver the highest quality product. This isn't mass production - it's craft farming. |
